WHAT’S IT

ALL ABOUT

Hank’s Po’ Boys offer a street food take on one of the most famous sandwiches in the world.

Gloriously messy, spicy and gravy soaked, our Creole beef Poor Boy pays tribute to the original po’ boy, invented by the Martin Brothers in 1920s New Orleans. They made them for streetcar drivers on the picket lines – they didn’t know they were starting a sandwich revolution….

Poor Boy

Other fillings include our spicy blackened fish Proud Boy, the fiery Cajun spiced Li’l Shrimpythe addictive honey, rosemary and hot sauce coated fried chicken Pretty Boy, the smoky, spicy meatball and cheese Ball Boy and the gloriously moreish fried oyster stuffed Pearly King. All are cooked with our own hand-blended spice mixes and come topped with lashings of our homemade sauces and salads.

Then there’s our cult Crawfish Balls which simply can’t be described. There’s a reason a customer renamed them #CrackBalls. Plus the classic Cajun Fries – try them naked or loaded with Creole beef, gravy, melted cheese, hot sauce and sour cream. You’ll dream about them long after you’re done mopping your face.
